New Rules for Workplace Disputes

The Workplace Relations Act 2015 makes a number of changes to how workplace disputes are handled and to which bodies look after them. It aims to bring work done by a range of bodies under one umbrella. It takes over some of the roles of the Labour Relations Commission, the Equality Tribunal and the Employment Appeals Tribunal, among others. The new Workplace Relations Commission was established in October 2015 and one of its functions is to streamline services for people involved in workplace disputes.
